If the search engines find a website spamming, they will be permanently taken out of their database and never shown to visitors again. Most search engines receive tens of thousands of website submissions every hour. So, it is highly advisable to limit the number of keywords for each page on your website. If need be, build separate pages for each keyword or a group of key phrases to that each page is optimized properly for the search engines to index. A 2% keyword density on each page is found optimal. A key point to remember is having unique or specific keywords. For example, if you are marketing credit cards, there are thousands of other websites with the same keyword. A little research can help you find specific keywords such as 'credit card alabama' or 'how to get a credit card' or 'credit card reviews' to get optimum search engine rankings.
Today, search engine optimization is the best form of website promotion available generally. However, you could also try pay per click networks and affiliate marketing too. For best results, you should combine a number of different website promotion methods. That way, you will reach more customers and therefore gain more profits!
At first glance, website promotion may seem complicated, but once you know what works and what doesn't, it is fairly simple. It isn't something you should skip, as you need website promotion to reach potential clients and customers.
