Search engine spiders index your web site. They only read the HTML code in your Internet pages. They do not read graphics, JavaScript code and other scripts and features.
So Just a couple of changes to your pages can give your site a big search engine boost. It is important to form a search engine friendly site whilst at the same time keeping your site friendly to your visitors.
You need to structure your pages for max search engine exposure without compromising the content or the look of your site.

Below are some steps you can take to make certain your pages are search engine friendly and user-friendly.
- Choosing a domain name. There's a lot of feud about if search bots give significance to the keywords in your domain name. - Put your keywords in your content. Search engines are looking at how frequently your keyword would appear on a page. That is how they establish relevancy. The keyword density of a page is critical for search engine optimization. Use your keyword 3 times for each 150 words on your page but be sure to stay around 3%-5%.
- Navigation. Put your most important navigation links on your home page so search engines can follow your links and index your pages. This is just as critical for your visitors as for the search engines.
- Directory structure. Put your vital files in the 1st level. Sub-directories that lie deep are way more tough for search engines to scan. Making a site map for large sites and providing a link to your site map on your default page is a good way to get all your crucial pages indexed.
- Create a Sitemap which contain all your website pages.
